TEACHING EXPERIENCE

• Washington University - Jazz Ensemble Trumpet Coach

• Band Director at Parkway School District, St. Louis County, Missouri.  Retired after 36 years.  In 2009 was named Parkway School District Teacher of the Year. 

• Director of Bands at Southwest Middle School for 27 years of those years, previous to that taught beginning band and High School Marching Band in the district.

• Former students have gone on to professional music careers performing and in music education across the country including St. Louis, Chicago, New Orleans and Los Angeles

Featured in concert numerous times including featured solos with Arnie Lawrence (NBC Orchestra NY) and Bruce Johnston (Maynard Ferguson/Woody Herman) and most recently Aubrey Logan at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center.
